5 Trade Destinations for Odell Beckham Jr.

data-mm-id=”_fk9bs9bsi”>FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer reported this morning that Odell Beckham Jr. has reached out to coaches and players saying that he wants to be traded from the Browns. Here are the five destinations that come to mind for one of the NFL's most talked-about talents next season:New England PatriotsUgh, just when you thought the end may be near. This news this morning sure puts a damper on those that were starting to believe this was the last season the Tom Brady-led Patriots were going to be contenders. Nothing screams Bill Belichick more than acquiring Beckham at this stage in his career. And, more importantly, New England has not needed help at any position in a long time like they do now at receiver. I don't know guys, this idea isn't going away…

Will Marshawn Lynch's 'Westworld' Run Be Better Than His Latest Stint With the Seahawks?

data-mm-id=”_2x2zzm7ae”>Marshawn Lynch will appear in season three of HBO's Westworld, which will air its first episode on March 15th. On Thursday night, he attended the premiere in Los Angeles. You can see a brief glimpse of Lynch in the the trailer below. According to ESPN, Lynch will have a "fun and pretty substantial role" which is actually the same way that Pete Carroll envisioned Lynch's return to Seattle last season. Westworld producers have to hope it turns out better for their show than it did for the Seahawks. Lynch scored twice, but only gained 26 yards on 12 carries in the Seahawks Divisional round loss to the Green Bay Packers. In addition to Westworld and the NFL Playoffs, Lynch also appeared on Bar Rescue earlier this year. It's only a matter o…

NBC News Now Being Dunked on Internally and Externally

data-mm-id=”_h82udariw”>NBC News' spineless and cynical decision to counter-program a town hall with President Donald Trump has backfired in the most predictable ways, from an internal revolt to the candidate involved making a mockery of the whole thing. Oops! Couldn't have happened to a more craven group of decision-makers. Strife is ripping through the highest levels of NBCUniversal today, per multiple reports. This happens as external criticism mounts. It's a perfect storm born out a red-sky morning and the one life jacket has already been fitted for Trump. Again, oops! Here's some defense being played in defense of the indefensible. Plan B, if you will, once the preventing-this defense proved too little, too late in a Big 12 game.Statement from NBCU news chief Ce…

Adam Gase Strikes Again

data-mm-id=”_u4xhlzxh4″>Adam Gase is a feather ruffler. He's not afraid to ruffle your feathers and he's equally unafraid to fluff his power-wielding feathers in your face if he doesn't like you. The Jets head coach has done it before and, in an offseason dominated by what's happened off the field, he did it again to a popular member of the Jets staff. According to reports, long-time head trainer John Mellody has been demoted to a consulting role by the Jets. Mellody has been Gang Green's head trainer since 2006 and has been with the franchise since 1996. He was reportedly a popular person within the team. The Jets had some weird injury issues last year and Kelechi Osemele and Luke Falk both filed grievances against the team. C.J. Mosely came back too early f…

Mike Greenberg Suggests the Buccaneers Emulate the 2015 Broncos

data-mm-id=”_kp7j7iht5″>The most interesting team in the NFL in 2020 is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it's not particularly close. Millions will watch closely at how Tom Brady looks outside of New England, if Bruce Arians can alter his offense to fit a quarterback who isn't usually his type, and if the Bucs can battle their way out of a stacked NFC South. This grand experiment could fail spectacularly, but it will, at minimum, be a fun ride. How could it not with Arians' sound bites and Brady throwing to a group of receivers arguably more talented as a whole than his record-breaking 2007 squad? They'll be the talk of the NFL town all season, just as they were all offseason. Mike Greenberg kicked off the discourse for the 2020 season today when he said Arians should tr…

Longhorns Football Players 'Expected' to Stand For 'The Eyes of Texas'

data-mm-id=”_gc9z8kur0″>The University of Texas has a fresh new take on people protesting and standing during songs. The Eyes of Texas, the Longhorns school song, has a racist history and student athletes have asked the university to drop it. Texas, of course, decided to keep the song and "own the history." Players have responded by heading the locker room after games, rather than remain on the field to honor the song. Well, that's over too.Multiple sources confirmed that UT president Jay Hartzell, AD Chris Del Conte and head football coach Tom Herman met with the football team last night about The Eyes of Texas controversy. It was conveyed to the players that they will be expected to stand during the school song.— Geoff Ketchum (@gkketch) October 15, 2020Coach Tom Her…

Fernando Tatis Jr., San Diego Padres Agree to Massive 14-year Contract

data-mm-id=”_6c9mg49px”>Fernando Tatis Jr. is going to be with the San Diego Padres for a long, long time. The 22-year-old phenom has reportedly agreed to a 14-year contract that will pay him in excess of $300 million — initial reports suggest total guarantees will hit $340 million. It's the third largest contract in MLB history as far as total dollars are concerned and a huge move by the Padres to secure their future. Breaking: Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres have agreed to a 14-year extension worth more than $300 million, sources tell me and @Ken_Rosenthal.— Dennis Lin (@dennistlin) February 18, 2021The Padres are hoping to make the deal official this weekend.— Dennis Lin (@dennistlin) February 18, 2021Tatis is baseball's most exciting player and the future of the ga…

Stephen A. Smith Thinks Lamar Jackson Will Never Be Happy Representing Ravens Organization

data-mm-id=”_tt2ufrqwr”>Lamar Jackson is still unsigned after the initial free agency rush and it seems almost inevitable that he'll have to sign the non-exclusive franchise tag and play for the Baltimore Ravens next year. Very few teams have the money to sign Jackson outright at this stage and something would've happened by now if anybody was truly interested. The draft will be the final deadline for the Ravens to theoretically move Jackson for the maximum possible return, but it is very likely he'll play on a one-year deal worth $32 million in 2023 and do this all again next offseason. Everybody always talks about how football is a business but that doesn't mean feelings do not get hurt in the process of conducting that business. It is natural to wonder if Jackson…

Fox News Took the 'Birds Aren't Real' Guy Seriously

data-mm-id=”_g1uog84en”>On Friday night, Fox News had Peter McIndoe on Jesse Watters Primetime to discuss the Birds Aren't Real movement. Unfortunately, it appears no one told the show's producers that McIndoe is a satirist who doesn't actually believe all birds are government drones. Pete Hegseth was sitting in for Watters and couldn't believe what he was hearing McIndoe suggest. In fact, Fox Nation has a documentary coming out called "Birds Are Fake" that examines the conspiracy theory. Here's video from the interview and I just love the way McIndoe capped it off:the "Birds Aren't Real" guy went on Fox News & they took him seriously. its the "thank you Tucker" for me lol pic.twitter.com/M1AJ2wUNSu— OnlyRanch (@OnlyRa…

Howard Stern Says Mad Dog 'Really F–ked Up' By Not Going Through With Bikini Punishment

data-mm-id=”_eevwpiyg5″>Howard Stern is not happy with his buddy Chris "Mad Dog" Russo. After Russo backed out of his promise to retire if the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Philadelphia Phillies and made the World Series, Stern gave Russo an out to save face. He's now backed out of that as well. When Russo refused to retire, Stern told him he had to do something so outrageous as punishment that people would forget it. He suggested Mad Dog should come on his show, wear a bikini and walk down the street in New York with a sign that said "I'm a douche." Russo agreed. Then he backed out. On Wednesday, Stern took to his show and expressed how upset he was with Russo for backing out. While reading fan emails blasting Mad Dog, Stern also said, "I'm real…
